I have a error code 7 on the xbox. The hard drive is not sounding right. It look like the drive is stuck. I beleive the drive does not work anymore. My question is how do I put another hard drive in, if the first the original does not work and the xbox keeps going to error mode? Surprised

If you dont have the eeprom backup for your Xbox then you will need a eeprom reader or a chip to fix it. The Xbox hdd lock key is different on every Xbox so without a backup of the eeprom then you have no way of locking the hard drive to the motherboard and it wont work.
