It's probably in the wrong section....
I have recently added two USB ports to my xbox (from controller port 4). I was wondering... since I can use a USB Memory Key for files, would I be able to attach a portabel harddrive and store all of my info on there, like game, music. etc?

then there's 2 ways you could upgrade the harddrive.. with chimp a program that comes with the AID Disk or Using a computer and xbhdm program... look around the tutorial section for both..

i dont think i was clear in my previous posts...
I wish to keep my original hard-drive and buy a portable external hard-drive and plug it into my xbox, to use it to store games on, that way i can take it to my mates places as well.

you can't store game on the external... it would just be a giant memory card for game saves, it has to be internal to save games to it..

LOL, its not to hard to install it internally, and you dont have to cart it around... i've got a 250GB and a chip, so ill i had to do is just pop it in and format it. with a softmod you have to do a little more..

with a 13 you could get about 2 maybe 3 games. i picked up a 250gb on sale for $120, but i found a 300gb on the net for like $150, just check around the web, or wal-mart for a sale.. but make sure you check the database on here to see if its lock-able.. its under the thumbnail up towards the top of this pages that says "harddrives" it says which drives are lock-able... most are, but double check..
