got another today....what i wanna know is....instead of having to totally remake big hd....is there anyway i can make a new disc and just unlock it with old disc and the relock with new one?
i would think i might have to go into explorer and replace the eeprom on hd somehow with new one first.....
i just dont wanna lose info on big hd if at all possible..... _________________

i think i fried a transitor....i was putting a light in....and i had an old case...so i cut that one instead of real one....my xbox is 1.6.....apparently if you put a 1.6 in an older case without removing some lil tab.....it grounds out and blows transistor:

i know..im gonna....but i already bought another box from pawn lol...its a 1.1 or 1.2 i think....i just gotta remember when the 1.6 is fixed never to change cases....
i also just went ahead and rebuilt big drive....i can always get stuff back the hard way lol.... _________________

just realized when i remade big hd i left it on master....dont really wanna crack open again....can i leave it or will it damage something? _________________

oh ok i just know that the stock hd's are set to cable select....so i thought id check... _________________

well cable select is for instances like say you have 2 hdds, both on CS, one has files and more files, the other has Windows OS, this will allow it to run wich ever it needs for the OS, if im wrong, somebody correct me! _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial
