yeah
just check the product to see if it has the ata 6 specification
if it does then it can be locked, most of the drives made after 2003 do meet the ata 6 spec, well just about every drive i get from seagate and WD and maxtor all have met the spec _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

I honestly didnt go into a great deal of testing. It was a quick favor for a friend. I used xenium chip with aid, switched to soft mod and removed chip. I would assume the hdd itself would utilise the 8mb....... But wether it would show any sig. diff. with the xbox, I doubt. _________________ XENIUM ICE 300GIG CUSTOM DVD

ok thanks....just havent decided on the 320 16mb cache seagate or 320 8mb cache western digital...there both same price..... _________________
