Hi,
Just been reading through a guide that seems to make sense. However, one thing I was not clear on. It said that, before installing the MS 5960 dash from AID, you should first "delete the files from C Drive".
Now does this mean delete ALL files from C drive?
Or just those in the root of C drive?
Then, just to run through, all I need to do is:
1) Boot to AID.
2) Delete necessary files from C.
3) Install MS 5960.
4) Backup MS dash. Presumably this will replace the existing backup of the old MS dash?
5) Install softmod dash (EvoX).
6) Run "Patch MS 5960".
7) Backup modded dash.
Done!
Would it be advisable to FTP to Xbox and backup to PC in case of BIG problems?

P.S. I am planning on doing this as I wanna use MS Dash, but unsure of which version I had. Would/could it cause any problems if I ran "Patch MS 5960" if it wasn't the 5960 dash on the box?
I did not perform the original softmod, and I don't have the necessary to do so from scratch. Doing it via AID would not require me to go through the whole Splinter Cell thing.
I'm just unsure of exactly what I need to delete from C drive???
