I have loaded dvd2xbox inot my evox menu and when I try access it:
1) if I have an original game- haven't tried backed up yet- in the xbox, I get to the dvd2xbox logo, and it just freezes. nothing happens after that.
2) If I keep the game drive open and navigate through the evox menu to the dvd2xbox, I get to the main menu and I select to copy dvd to hdd. It then asks me which location to save and once I select the drive door closes and the machine freezes.
Any help would be great...

I've been having a similar problem since about June and haven't figured it out (in fact, I've given up on it and started using Px Loader, which is supposed to be as good, but it's worked everytime for me.
If you figure out the problem, please let me know! _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

I have gotten bugs with a few apps here and there. When I get issues like that, I FTP into them and wipe them out then use an AI to reinstall.
XBMC got funky on me only when playing videos. Wiped it out, reinstalled and all was great.
I have given the same advice to others when they had issues with backup apps. Probably some corrupt files.

I've tried deleting DVD2Xbox folder and downloading the latest version and FTPing it, but that didn't fix the problem... does DVD2Xbox use any files that are NOT contained within the DVD2Xbox folder? If it does, I suspect that's the problem, but if it does not, I'm at a loss! _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

I often wondered that myself. I am unsure how the autoinstallers set it up. I know what you mean though, when you just delete a folder for an application on a windows OS there are still program files, DLL files and instances of the program strewn about the HD in other files/folders.
Also, I don't know if it uses any other resources not associated with the application that my be effecting how it works.
Hopefully someone can school us both on that one!

THIS is where I think the problem lies... I'm not certain, but I think I originally did a "manual install", just FTP'd the downloaded app to the Apps folder. Since Px Loader has worked for me every time, I haven't felt the need to press the issue and resolve it. _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room
