Well after all the comments here and reading through all the docs on softmodding, I think an X3 CE is the way to go for me. All the hoops and stuff that have got to be done for a softmod don't really seem worth it in the grand scheme of things (to me anyway, that is my personal opinion) Besides soldering in a pin header and a 1.6 rebuild board does not look to be that big of a problem as long as I have a good soldering iron (got it), some good solder (got it), and a couple packs of smokes (got 'em).

I hate to hijack this thread but can someone give me the pros and cons of both Soft and Hard modding. I'm debating on a mod and am not sure yet. I just want a complete comparison of hard and soft modding. Thanks.
