Hi...I downloadet the "Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.3.1.Final.Xbox-Hq" torrent... and got the SID menu up an running! I followed the manual to do a softmod...But when i turn on the XBox afterwards it gives me error code 21!!!
If i try to remove the softmod and go back to the old MS Dash...It tryes to download Live updates, says it cant find any...And keeps on doing that!!!
Plz help me...

DID YOU REINSTALL THE MS DASH AFTER YOU SOFTMODDED? dID YOU HAVE THE MOST CURRENT BUILD?
REALOAD THE SOFTMODGAME AND SAVE, THEN INSTALL MS DASH.

If you still want to do a softmod I would recommend using SID 4.5, it's almost noob proof and it makes you back up your system before it will install. I've used it quite a few times and never had a problem. Especially if you use the single boot option.

Usually errors above 13 are related to your dash, but more info would be required to help you.

Sorry for the late responce...
But i cant use SID 4.5...Because i cant acces the xbox, i cant go to the memory menu and copy the savegame! Im stuck before that...

We were all assuming you have a copy of the linux cd? You can download and burn one of not. Or try The softmod boot cd. You can download it from here of you spend the cash for a VIP membership.
It is well worth of few dollars for what you will get in available support.

Since you machine is softmodded, and even though you have lost your dash, it should still boot homebrew games and apps. If so then the boot cd will help you use or replace your dash. The AID CD will help you repair and install a fresh msdash and hacked dash. The linux CD will allow you to do both of these but with a few extra steps, that I have never taken personally.

Well...I got the AID disk! But when i burn the ISO on a CD and puts it in the xbox, it still gives me the error 21! Plz help
