Hi there i have just brote a limited crystal xbox console. I have not got it yet but the date on it is 2004-02-16 Was wanting to no what version it is. as i have orderd the DUOX2 chip for it and want to get the install off net for the version it is.

No sorry dont have serial. mite have to wait till i get it on monday. One other qustion as a mate did my mod chip and hdd install in my big modded xbox. How do you unload the standed HD and do you have to install the chip before you after you unlock the standed hdd? wanting to unlock the standed hdd in the clear xbox and put it in my back one thats got my 300bg in it and put the 300gb in the clear xbox.

well i recommend installing the chip then unlocking the standard hdd, and unlock the hdd from the other on, then place it in the clear box, and lock if you need, i keep myine unlocked. i believe that system is a 1.6, i have a xbox here same month and year and its a 1.6, but ya never know some douche coulda switched cases, and use a blow dryer to remove the lables _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

The clear xbox hasnt been opened before. my HDD is unlocked. oh wanted to always no if your HDD is locked and the xbox blows up for a strange reason and cannot repair it or dont want to can the HDD be unlocked again or is it F***ed

well if you lock the hdd, and the xbox goes flabberd, you can unlock it aslong as you backup the eeprom to you pc, so then you can use xbhmd, or another hdd unlocking too to unlock it. or if you lock the hdd with configmagic just remember the master password, then you could use atapwd to unlock it with the password _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

how do i backup the eeprom to pc i have ftp to the xbox and that and no how to use it just dont no what to backup. and where can i get the software. with the master password way will UnlockX work or is ATAPWD
better?
