Is there a way, somewhere to start maybe. I think this OS would make softmod HD upgrades a snap. Any way to run it from the HD?

huh? AID? Wha?

I think i know what you're getting at. Install the chip, use AID to install the softmod files, then remove the chip and have a softmod, right?

The built in xenium OS allows you to run a slave HD and clone your current drive to the slave. If this OS could be installed as an app I think I could make use of it. I am not familiar with what type of file this is, but if it can be or modfied, it would make things very easy to upgrade from the stock HD after softmodding. This program is legal I think. I have tried and you cannot slave without this on the softmodded xbox I have.

I would ask either pezzar or rabid1, I see what you want to do now, that's a good idea for an app, if that's possible. The xenium os is stored on a flash chip. Not really sure how it works, I was just excited about how easy a hdd upgrade was, and never really gave it much thought.
