have soft modded an xbox which worked fine for a couple of days now when i turn it on i get a screen come up that ssays trying to update x box live and when this appears i can do anyhting with the xbox . it wont even load a disc or read from the memory card and wont even let me boot into the bios screen as am new to this any help woul be appreciated thanks

did you back up the eeprom and ms dash to you pc, if so then you cn easily use xbox hard drive maker, or also known as xbhdm, to rebuild the hard drive, thisa will fix the problem, but will require you to open both you pc and xbox.

I know you have....but did you put the softmod disc back in? The game CD you used to do the mod. This disc should load when all others fail. This should rescue it all.
