I recently tried and installed the SID that is integrated into my copy of AID 3.0. This software was easy to use but some small details would have been time saving to have been mentioned.
The use of a USB memory key device, while an option, is the reason for adding a few very important and required steps. The The action replay and megaxkey device must be much simpler. What is not included in most tutors is that you must use the usb make shift or store purchased dongle adpater and plug it into the unmodded xbox. Go to the msdash and enter the memory card manager. It should ask you to format the card. If this setp is not followed your gamesave loads will show as corrupted in the file manu and will not offer a "copy file to hd" option.
Once you have formatted the card, then use the AID deluxe cd in a modded box or use the action replay memory save manager to tranfer the files to the not xbox formatted memory key.
Now I had a problem with this step. Every time I unzipped the sid files on my PC and transfered them into the action replay software directory I got an error. This error said that the gamesave was not a vaid action replay gamesave and would not allow me to tranfers the save to the card. I of course could not utilize windows explorer fuctions to do this because it insisted on re reformatting the stick.
So in the end my already chipped box was the solution. I ran and installed the SID gamesaves onto the stick from my smartxx1.1. This canniot be accomplished with any oem memory card because the files equal to over 11mb. Once I finiched these easy steps the whole process was easy from there. This if where I got stuck, for one reason or another.

I Believe that you have to leave the game save zipped to transfer it to the memory card via action replay software.

That helps, I was unsure of course and there was no FAQ's. Thanks! However, I use the nk from ndure and I have used the 3.1 Lite. Both have the dual boot option, but when I use what should load the ms dash, I just get a hand up and a cycling led light. Any help here?

I have no plan to xbl, to be honest I am not sure what that means. I do not want to be online, if that is what you mean. I have patched the ms dash with both the sid gamesave and with my aid. Still same solution. This is a 2001 xbox version 1.0.

just do single boot, first uninstall the softmod, and remod again, with single boot, you can access the ms dash from a option in both evox and unleashx _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

I have a need for the msdash to be bootable cold, for appearance purposes. Is there no way to do this?
Yes I can boot the msdash from evox, this is no problem. I have 3 chipped xbox's as well. One of them has a switch for the mod, when the switch is off I get an error 13. It must be something I am doing wrong to lose the dash like this.

Thanks, instead I found the mxdashclone skin. Works for what I need it for.
Anyone know how to fix the error 13 on my smartxx v1.1. Only when the switch is off.
