Okay so I thought I'd try switching my xbox case for the crystal blue from the original black. In doing so I of course removed all the insides ( while they were out of the xbox case they were sitting on static bags and i of course was grounded). Now the issue I'm having is now that its all back together (ran into no issues with that) but the xbox will not power up? Opened it back up everything is plugged into the correct place and firmly plugged in.
Any suggestions in what I may have done? anyone know how to fix it?
Please help I miss my xbox.....

no the version is detemined by what is on the motherboard, but i wanted you to see if you accidently ripped anything of the mobo, as i know on a 1.6 that ther eis one piece that will cause it to not boot if removed, as i have had to repair several _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

Do you know anyone with a xbox? its gonna have to be a 1.6 because they use a different powers supply, that way you can test to see if its just the power supply. _________________

Ahh, too bad I dont have a 1.6 here to test with lol you could send it to me and ill check it out myself, with a multimeter. Not unless you have a multimeter, then you can see if its getting power. _________________
