ok so i have a samsung drive that hangs up when opening but i have been using it. its kinda slow especially on my backed up copy of scarface. and it pisses me off you kinda have to hit it to make the game load which is annoying so i decided to do the pot tweak on my phillips drive. i have a brand new laser for a backup just in case. i have adjusted it to 800 ohms all the way down to 400 considering the back up laser is it 399. im using memorex dvd-r. around 800 ohms it will read the media as a data which isnt correct. it will read uknown around 700 and i got it to read as a game ONCE around 430 ohms. what is up with that. it kinda pisses me off i cant find any SPECS other than 500 ohms which also doesnt work. does anyone have any ideas or would anyone want to trade a couple of samsungs for a phillips drive with orignal and replacement laser and or an x3 ce modchip brandnew in the packaging i bought it before i knew of the everso awesome SOFTMODS.
