I have been attempting to softmod my XBox using the gamesave exploit for Splinter Cell. I have successfully transferred the two files to the HDD and see the "LINUX" game save. When I load the game save and select "Check Points" it just freezes and will stay that way until the XBox is rebooted or the game is ejected.
Here is the system information for my XBox:
K: 1.00.3944.01
D: 1.00.5960.01
Any help on what is wrong or what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

Are you using an original SC disc?
What memory card did you use? AR memory cards tend to corrupt gamesaves.

dangermouse yes it is the original SC disc. I am using the AR device to transfer the game saves over.
Greven I first tried the AID 3.0 game saves then tried AID 3.10 game saves.

I was able to get my hands on an original copy of AUF and I tried that and it worked. Not sure what was up with the SC version.

It seems the SC exploit if very finicky. I have Mechassault and SC. Both work fine...I use a memory stick on a usb reader. I have run into the freeze screen with SC when I have other game saves.
Anyway good to see you have found success.
