I think I need a new xbox but heres the problem... here the problem I have a modded xbox I softmodded I upgraded the hard drive in the xbox it seemed to work fine for awail just testing out the emulators and junks and it seemed to work fine. last night I tried to go on the the msdash board and the xbox restarted. then I tried playing a few videos games in it and it just frooze at diffrent parts diffrent parts of the game I then tried to make backup copys just incase it was my cd drive and they still froze at the same place running off the hard drive. I think maybe its a bios problem but I dont know heres a few things I done on my own to fix the problem but didnt work.
unlocking the hard drive formatting restoring it and putting it back in, didnt work
useing another drive to format it and restore it, didnt work
using another persons hard drive cd to restore the hard drive then lock it with my hard drive cd didnt work... anyone know what the problem is?

Game lockups are usually attributed to the cache. Delete E:\CACHE. If that doesn't work, try deleting anything in X, Y, and Z.
If thats not the issue, you may want to try putting the stock HDD back in and see if that still works. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
