When putting files in the emulator such as GBA menu, Do you place the file in as a Zipped folder or Extract the file content and place the extracted file in the emulator assigned folder?

When use xboyadvance, I have the indicidual roms extracted to the Roms folder, not zipped. This is not the same for every emulator, so you'll need to check the documentation _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

I have XBoyadvance and all of my roms are in zipped folders. The file inside the zip folders is a .gba extension. They all work great.

I tried ftp the rom as a zip and yes it does work. Perhaps this might be the way to go since it save alot of HD space as a compressed file.
Any reason why some rom files will the file listed as such:
gamename #GBA.gba
What's the reason for the #GBA?
