Iam very fructrated! I have installed my Mod chip on my ver1.4 box , no problems. It boots up in Cromwell 2.3, then opens the tray. I have tried a dozen different disks (found a thread stating Verbatim CD-rws work with my phillips , so Iam now using it over) I have used several different bios's (512k) and have tried x2bm to create Bios with dummy loads. Depending which disk i used it would try to read the disk continuously or would read and then keep spinning with no errors or any other signs of progress. it seems like it doesn't know what to do with the bin . I named them BIOS. Does anybody have any suggestions. Please!!!!!!!!!

I tried to network boot through my router, it doesn't give me an address. Do I have to have a crossover cable and direct connect to flash this way? I went to Linux and ethernet.org with no help.

It doesn't actulally say flash on the xbox, it says Ethernet 5.2.3 and then it gives some info and mac address then it says searching for server DHCP. Do you know what it is searching for? What can I do to help it find my computer?
My bank 1 is hosed so I can't follow robzzombies tutorial, that might be my whole problem, but I thought the 2 banks bios's were separate from it other? It was Flash bios 3.0.3. now it just flashes green and red. Am I scewed?

DHCP is a type of connection in wich it automatically finds the IP. There is another type "Static" you can set your IP manually but all its doing is searching for an IP to use on your LAN! _________________ Hotswap Tutorial|FTP Tutorial|HyperX Flashing Tutorial

Hey guys thanks for the help. I used bits and pieces of your tutorial and some of your previous threads on the X2 and got it working.
I had to boot up in bank 2 and then flip the switch back to bank 1 with the power on to get into the hosed Cromwell 3.03. Once in there I could network boot ( it then gave me a IP address), flashed with a good bios and install AUTO INSTALLER3 and now , Life is good!!!!!
