Hi im an idiot. Irecently unlocked my harddrive using configmagic but i forgot to lock it when i turned off my xbox. Is there anyway i can lock it through my pc. Also I bought a new harddrive off of ebay but it doesnt work either. HELPPPPPP

Do you have a backuo of your eeprom.bin on your Pc? If you do, you can use xboxhdm to relock it.

If you buy a locked xbox harddrive off ebay, next time you will know not to next time, to you its a brick. And if you dont have a eeprom back up you will either have to put a mod chip in it or build a eeprom reader(only for the electronically inclined).

Ok so i need to install a mod chip in my xbox whats the best chip to install?

Depends how much you want to spend. If you want a very powerful, feature-laden chip I recommend the X3 or the Xenium ICE
