well can u coldboot anything if u can then coldboot your exploit game then go back into there and hook your xbox up to a router with your computer attached or get a crossover cable. then get an ftp program. load it up than get a new copy of MS DASH from i think grevens sig i may be wrong tho. then extract the MS DASH files then go and ftp the msdash files to your C:\ partition then backup your saves if you want to. delete everything in E:\ the add 2 folders tdata and udata. then turn it off and c if that worked. if it didnt then u might need to hotswap _________________

It's nice to hear that someone is willing to try to search for the answer rather than wait for someone to fix it for them... Good job!
There are plenty of others out there that have had things go wrong and expect the answer to be handed to them. There is something to be said for a person who does their homework first.
thanks guys, this is first time for me to mod and finanly i understand about moding....with out this forum i will be lost or take a long time to find the answer.
i do have another question; can xbox be a HDD recorder? need any hardmod? or softmod?

Your still not making much sense. If you want to back up a DVD to the HDD of your xbox, yes, this can be done easily with a program called Dvd2Xbox that can be installed from AID3.10. If your talking about recording television that streams into the xbox and then is saved to the xboxs harddrive like a standalone stereo DVD recorder unit, then yes, this can also be done, but requires a USB video capture card, a USB->xbox adapter, an upgrade in xbox memory(recommended, MIGHT work without it), and linux installed on the xbox with MythTV running. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

If I am correct he has a v1.6, on which the memory is not upgradable. At least that's what I've been led to believe... Might want to look into getting an earlier version (v1.1-1.5) if he's interested in persuing this type of project. Just a suggestion.
