right now that i have a pc was wondering if there was another way to relock my hard drive of an xbox i bricked, im pretty sure its all fine cept i accidently unlocked the hd didnt relock it and turned it of nothing will boot in it, someone said before to get a mod chip, but was wondering is it possible to take it out put it in my pc and relock it??? some how? on a shoe string budget

You can take it out and lock it with your PC if you have a backup of your eeprom.bin file on your HDD. If you do, post back and we can walk you through how to re-lock the drive _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

nope no back up on pc unfortunately, saw the aid 3.1 post about adding a bigger hdd with that precedure sort it out?

when installing the softmod i backed up everything including that is that what you mean i need sleep but am anxious to find out!!!

Do you mean you backed up all the files in your softmod to your PC?

i need some help with this myself!!!! OK as uknow im awaiting my 1.0 mobo from J8994 and well my hdd is locked with the broken mobo eeprom.......i used a program a looooong time ago that unlocked the hdd.
