the game that I am trying to back up into a Disk is called Ninja Gaiden and this game is 5.88 gigs while the max i can put is 4.7 gigs into a DVD+R. What Can I Do?

2. try deleting files and see if you can get it down to size AND have it still run! I just keep it on a HDD, so I hadn't tried reducing it. If it has a folder called something like "Xdemos", you can usually delete these without consequence (unless you try to play the demos from the disc). If you have an NTSC system ("North American") you can often delete files containing "PAL" without consequence. If you have a PAL system (most everywhere else except Japan), you can probably delete any files containing "NTSC". If you only speak "American" like me, you can delete "foreign language" files, often in folders labeled like "esp" (spanish), ita (italian), etc. I'm not sure why, but the American language files are often labeled 'eng'.
Deleting the default.xbe file will make it smaller, but I'll guarantee it won't run if you do!

i havent played it,

Look through some older posts that I replied to in the burning or game section..
I listed all of the deletable files to make it smaller if you dont' have a DL DVD9 Burner..

don't worry I got it Working. You got to delete /Media/ update.xbe dashboard.xbe and then in the movies section you delete all the ones that have a _j at the end and your total should come out to 3.91 gb. (information taken from xbox-scene)
