ok before I ask this I know it probably wont happen but, Has anyone herd of any one trying to port pcsx2 0.9 (ps2 emulator) to xbox. I have seen a few forums saying it would be impossible, but they also said that about a working ps2 emulator for pc , and yes very few games run as "playable" on it it stil has been done.
Now I know It probably would not reach no where near the speed needed to really be playable, the pcsx2 needs a pretty damn good pc to run decent.On the + side thuogh all the emulators ive played with, the xbox ports seem to work better ( probably due to the fact tha a pc has other programs using some of it resorces where the xbox emulators pretty much have all the xboxes resorces avalible for use) (just my thoghts on it as im not a programer, but it seems logical )
So If all these others work better on xbox Why wouldnt a Ps2 emlulator? I wouldnt really think that it would work better in this case, but even if the games werent "playable" Wouldnt it be cool just to see a ps2 game runnig in an xbox, even at 1/2 fps lol.
any how a know most of the people using emulators are only looking for that full speed no glich emulators, but there are a few of us that enjoy the coolness of "that a ps2 game on my computer" kind of stuff.
So now then on with the "it cant be done" post from all the skeptics out there,lol

It woudn't work, because the xbox does not have enough power or RAM to even make a ps2 game playable. It would be incredibly laggy and unfit to even try to have fun on it. It is laggy on quite a few n64 games as well. But there is a way probably, but it would just be a waste of time to make it. _________________ Moddingbandit

I dont think it would be pointless, it not like poeple that write emulators would be wasting there time, they dont make money off them. It just the thought off seeing it done whether bad or good.

It has been tried, and it was a failure. You would basically need a computer inside your xbox for it to run if at all. _________________ Moddingbandit

well the xbox can play PS 1 games, just not ps2. They are saying PS1 there on the Dreamcast. _________________ Moddingbandit

yes I knew its saying ps1 games .... But what im saying is that the dream cast wasnt much more powerful then the ps1 and yet they were able to make it happen. just as the xbox is just a little more powerfull the the ps2 ...
So if dream cast could doit for the ps1 I believe wiith the right brain power it could be done for the xbox and ps2 to some degree.
