Softmod HELP!!:
Recently I have been on various internet forums and have been reading about softmodding. I recently got a guide from a google search that gave me a link to where to download the softmod seeing as how #xbins wasn't really helpful. It explains what things you need for the softmod to work and of course how to do so. I have obtained, probably the last Action Replay memory card from Zellers in Hamilton, Ontario. The next requirment is finding an original 007: Agent Under Fire, Mechassault, or Splinter Cell. As I said I have been reading about softmodding and people have stated some versions of the platinum and classics work with the softmod. That being said I was wondering if someone could give me exact information as to what version I need, seeing as how I can't afford a lot of money. Another thing that worries me is the softmod i downloaded. I'm worried it may be obsolite so I figured I should ask you guys. The rar file I downloaded is called Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0.Xbox-Hq.rar. The files it contains is the guide and the softmods that can be with one of the three games. The last thing I would like to ask is pertaining to the MS Dashbord. It says the easiest way to do this is once the box is soft modded by using the Auto-Installer Deluxe to delete the files from the C Drive and install the latest MS Dash. The question I want to ask is do other softmods have this feature. Also I have uploaded the guide given to megauploads. The link:

I would really recommend not useing SID2.0. The currrent version is 4.5, and is much better than the older versions.
As for how to get the files and what versions to use, I really recommend downloading AID3.0. This is the auto isntller deluxe disk, and will install all the applications that you need, including an updated MS dash.
It also has SID 4.5 files, a list with pictures of what games will work, and the walk through on how to softmod the xbox.
