I just put a clear case on my box and I want to change both LEDS on front to red. On power up they are both green and when it goes to the Dashboard only the Left will turn red the right will be off! I've tried switching 5&6 and 7&8 pins. Please Help this NEWB! Thanx

Make sure the wires going from +5 to the right led are connected properly and not defected, like while u were soldering. Use a multimeter to check that the power goes from +5 to the anode. Also use it to check if the power goes from cathode to ground. If you have used new LED, make sure u have installed it in the correct order. If this all fails, use another LED and see if it lights up. _________________

Now that I look at it the right LED will only turn green I've done no soldering or swithching of LEDS just swithching of pins! HElP

If you want red leds all the time, you have to replace them with red leds. Its easier that way. _________________

To make both LED's red WITHOUT having to chnage the LED itself, just take pins 5 and 8 out, and take pins 6 and 7 and put them in the 5 and 8 slots. Then if you never want it to turn green again just tape the loose pins of 5 and 8 to the inside of the box with electrical tape, and if you dont care just replace the pins into pins slots 6 and 7.
