Hello,
I'm currently in the process SoftModing my Xbox. I have all the stuff I need to do it. I got some help by a friend who has already done it. He told me about this site.
I don't Have XBLive, I don't want XBLive......ok now thats over
....
Is there anything I should be aware of before, while, or after I do this mod...

Yes, if you have SID, check out the manuals. If you have AID, read the manuals. You can never read too much, as long as it's from one source, keep trying to read from 7 different authours and your head will spin.
If you're confident with technology, I suggest SID 3.11. It's more open ended, but also more prone to the always worryful screwup. If you want to be safe, just go with SID 4.5.
Make sure you have the latest MSDash (you can get this just by accessing ANY xbox live enabled game's Xbox Live Tab. No, you don't have to sign up, just let the dash update) then softmod.

also i dont know if Angelos is familiar with softmod, but i was softmodded so if u have any questions after install on cool stuff u can do with it ask and mayb i can help you out.
This site is also packed with lots of great downloads, Tutorials, and alot more!! Remember piracy is NOT condoned here so we cannot help you with donwloaded, rented and copied to hdd, or barrowed and copied to hd games!
