my controller isnt working in several of the roms. i think paper mario was one. and f-zero g. any help would be appreciated.

go ahead and put me to the whipping post. i quit being an idiot and went to emulator discussions. found my answer there. i dont use port 1 on my xbox, just port 2. im going to go home and try that.

It was exactly what was wrong. I also know many other people have this same problem stiming from the same mistake. It's a simple mistake that leads to a million problems. The people who have problems with their controller not working in cromwell with the X3 is the same thing alot of times to I believe.

The problem occurs with cromwell can also be aftermarket controller

That's what I was reffering to. I had a after market controller that wouldn't work unless in port 1.but thats not to say its true with all aftermarket.
