When you put a new HD with AID in the dvd drive, AID should recognize it as a new HD. I think you have gone through AID harddrive preparation and skip the F:\ and G:\ directory installation which is for big harddrives. _________________

Just format/prepare again and it should have F:\ and G:\ directories. It formats in such a way that C is the main containing 500 mb, E contains like 5 gb, and x,y,z contains around 750 mb each, these are for the xbox. Your additional space is added to F: directory if it is a bigger harddrive from the retail hard drive. If it is a lot bigger, it will add a G: directory for the rest of space. Basically, your extra space is F: and G: directories. _________________

Yet again, apparently, you think softmods are the same as chips. They're not. You can't just pop in a new HDD and throw AID into the drive and expect it to work. With softmods, there's only two ways to upgrade your Hard drive (for v1.0's to 1.5's) xbhdm and Chimp 2.4. For 1.6's you can use both of the other ways, but for Chimp, you'll need to do it via telnet.
Now, your final advice was correct, though:

Very true, for unleashX all you have to do is go to storage options, enable F and G drive, reboot, then go to the format menu and format F. Since you only have 160 GB's, the rest of your space will show up on F, you will NOT have a G drive. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Yes, thank you. I'd also appreciate it if you'd try and do a softmod or two. Shouldn't be hard for ya since you have a chip. I've dealt with members before giving bad advice on a topic they didn't know about. I really don't want to come off as too much of an asshole. But the wrong advice can really mess up an xbox. And even cost someone a lot of money. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

yes well i need a memory card and the game to do that i have none of them
A broken memory card will do. All i need is the actual memory card case itself along with the part that plugs into controller. I do not need a chip in the memory card. I can make a usb memory card adapter. It even works on normal M$ dash. _________________

You can get a memory card and splintercell or any of the three games for about 20 bucks total at a local E-bay. I, myself, have two memory cards. One pre-loaded with SID 3.11 and one for SID 4.5 as I have certain customers who prefer one or the other. But it's really not that hard to get a copy of the game and the memory card that you need. Hell, if you have a USB flash drive, just create a USB Female to Xbox male adapter and use that. Downside? It'll format the flash drive in FATX when you plug it in.
You can get a USB Female off a USB extension cord. Just match up the wire colors in the breakaway cable to the colors on the USB cord. Simple, easy and quick. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Go to best buy, circuit city, anywhere; then go to their computer dept. tell them that you need a USB extension cord. Just a short one, since you're going to be butchering it anyway. You can probably get one from ANY store that sells computer components, even my Local Wal-Mart carries them. Not sure how many you guys have up there, but I 'm sure you have some kind of mega store like walmart or meijer or something. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Note: If you get an Buy AR. ..disk/mem card/usb to mem card deal.. The AR cards well not work!! You have to use a MS xbox mem card. or a flash drive.
Theres also AR max drive that come with a flash card I don't know if it would work.
But there are tuts out there. You can just D/L the AR/AR max drive sotfwear for free use a flash drive you have if you have one.
