does it work? can it be used with a soft mod? and if so what would you have to do , make the extra 2 hd's the same as the original so they all have same eeprom?
im guessing the lcd spots would be useless for softmods though..... _________________

cause the components they give you control which drive to boot correct?
once i get that 320 gig i could use this to use my old 40 gig for movies and a 10 gig for mp3's....... _________________

It will work with a softmodded xbox but all drives have to be softmodded, because the switch decides which drive is used. (Can only use one drive at a time.) Each drive has to have a dash and all programs that you will want to use with it. The reason for this is fairly simple... the IDE bus on an xbox will only support 2 Ide devices at one time. eg. DVD drive & Hard drive.
