I am a nub. Can someone tell me how to FTP my xbox (including seting up the dash if i need it. I have a vage idea but i cant get the files im supost to burn to a RW. All i need to know if i need Evol and whare to get the files for free!

if you want the files for free goodluck.
They are very hard to find on the internet unless you are a very experienced user..
Try Direct Connect, #IRC or Bittorent.. You may find them there.

If you dedicate serious hours to mIRC, filesharing, bit torrents and begging...I am sure you can find all the evox, and xbox hacking files that you could imagine. However, you will probably spend much time downloading only to find out that some of your files are either corrupt or flat out bogus.
For a $10 donation, you have access to a very organized and heavily loaded download section. It has everything you could need to successfully mod your machine.
Plus, you get VIP support which is just like support for your brand new PC. You submit a support ticket, and the more knowledgable admins/mods will answer you directly. No waiting for someone to stumble across your post.
There is also a $5.00 donation category that gets you access to the files for two weeks, but I highly recommend the one year category.
That way, as your knowlege and desires increase, you can find the files that you need to accomplish your new tasks. The money that they take in for donations goes to cover a small portion of the hosting fees. I say small portion because it only takes a little dent out of it. There are so many files on this server that the bandwidth usage is absolutely insane!
