Ok, i would still like to play a couple roms on my xbox, but they just do not boot. I have 4 roms, 2 do not play, and 2 do play. In the Rom list in Surreal 64, the 2 non-working roms are named: something [E] [!z64], or something just like that. The 2 that do work are named something.z64.
Also, 2 non-working roms, say it is 512mbits, and the other256 mbits. I dont know if that helps though.
Do i need to change the rice, or video plug-in. Okay, ill just say 1 nonworking rom is Conkers Bad Fur day. I have tried to launch it with 1964, pj64, and the other one i forgot, because its late now, and my mind goes beserko.
So, do i need to rename or resize, or what to get Conkers to work?

I'ev had to try all 3 emulators and diferent video options for each to get individual roms to work, some still don't though.
Try getting a different rom for that game, might help. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

When i launch Conkers with 1964, on 5.60 rice, i get that nintendo symbol, then just a blank, black screen.
But on the other rice's, i get jsut a blank screen.

Yup the xbox can't emu the N64 that well. To much ram for it to take...you can always get rams chips and solder them in besides that thats the way it is _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

To clarify, the Xbox (surprisingly enough) cannot emulate the bigger games, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Conker, Zelda, and anything over 128Mbit (you see that when you highlight the ROM). So what do you do? Be cool and hookup your controller ot the compter? That's a cool idea. Or, what you could do, is get a junk mobo, pull the RAM chips off, and then solder them onto your current board.
Problem with that? Yeah, there's about 100 solder points smaller than this []. For each chip (there's 4). Below, you'll find some pictures of these wonderful chips.
Lone Chip:
You'll see how small the chip is if you open up your xbox and take a peek. But the size of the chip isn't want kills ya, it's getting it off in one piece, and then soldering it on to the other board....
Chip Slot:
and this is where you need to solder your lone chips into. Not very user friendly if you ask me....

Angelos,
Please attach all images directly to our forum using the attach button.
That way our server does not need to wait for external servers to fetch a image..
It also doesnt make the forums look all ugly and throw them out..

As far as I know, you can't connect a N64 controller to a PC. Have you tried googling? _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
