I made the XBOX/USB cord.
Pluged in my Lexar Secure 2 512mb Jump Drive.
XBOX formated it.
Loaded AR max.
IT didnt Detect it.
Found Discussion on messing with the XBREADER.INI file...
Still no detection with AR MAX....

not that simple with windows xp, and a jump drive, once the drivers are gone off the jump drive or any usb drive, you can brick it easily. Theres no recovering it. The OS's wont reconize it. _________________

This is where i trucked up..
Format the usb jump dricve throught the xbox to make it a memcard..
Stick it in the usb slot, after using usbview to find the numbers u need open the ini file to change the number.
then when you update the drivers go totally manual down to the last click...NO AUTO SEARCH nothing...That was my mistake....
MANUALLY SELECT THE DARN FILE meaning make it open the the browser winder to click on the modded ini file///////
jeez well its all moded...Got my Evox on there but Am Curious just how to get the XBMC to boot first instead of the Evox...Ive got the MC360 Skin on the XBMC and love it......also got me some XlinkKai running....

If you want to run XBMC instead of Evox use AID3.04 and install over where evox is . So, if evox boots from E:\evoxdash.xbe, install the softmodded XBMC dash to E: _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

you know how i did mine, i took the ar drivers and pre modifed them for all 5 memcards and both of my usb drives on a spare pc, then put it to disk, then i formatted my drive using xbox, and installed are on my pc i use everyday, and when i inserted the usb device it picked it up auto no setting the driver up lol. _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com
