Well I thought I had finally managed to install my new 250gb maxtor in my softmodded Xbox. Used HDM and initially had problems getting the right eeprom (kept getting error 6),but after trying a few diffrent eeprom files it seemd to finally work...or so I thought. I have xbmc as my default dash. When I boot the X-Box, it would show the xbmc icon that appears just before the menu, but then the screen would just go blank....so I switched back to evox...loaded the evox dash fine, but still couldn't launch XBMC from there. I tried using hdm again this time using my original softmod files, but same result. To top it all off, while I can FTP in FlashFXP to the box, it is extremely slow (keep getting the following 502 error message sequence on every file). Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated:

Thanks, I managed to sort it out....once I fianlly got XBMC ftp'd to the box and loaded it, everything was fine....for some reason, these error messages (still) come up if I attempt to FTP without XBMC loaded (e.g while running evox).
