250 maxtor hd
I loaded the flashbios_v3.03.bin onto my xbox's c: then started x3 config live, selected bios tools, flash main bios and selected bank 1. I must have screwed that up because based on what i read there needs to be multiple banks used for the file. Or maybe I just completely screwed everything up.
Anyways as soon as I did that I rebooted. My xbox and chip flash for a second then fade off twice then the system starts up with the lights flasing red and green and no picture.
Help, please.

K, couple things:
The king of all bios is the X3 3294. If you had config live menus, you already had that bios
However, all hope is not lost. The x3CE comes with a backup bios. Hold down both the power and eject button, and you should see your bios switch go purple/pink and be greeted witha flashbios screen. set your switches to: on on off off. Then use HTTP to flash the 3294 bios and your back up and running. Reboot and jump to live config. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

ok i'm a newbie so how do i put the 3294 bios on a cd and what do i do after that. thanks. i appreciate it.

forget the part where it mentions recovery file thats for the xenium chip. follow the tut using the settings described

ok. but everytime i try to get the 3294 bios, it sends me to a link for x2 config maker .net. is this something i need to compile or what? i'm pretty much a newbie at this.

If you've download AID3, the 3294 bios is included with that. It comes both on the cd and on the directory that is extracted from the .rar along with the ISO _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
