I started up my xbox, and it did the intro blob part, (xbox intro) and only 1/2 of the light on the open disc button was green.
It went to a screen that said my xbox was in need of repair, call (xbox support). I tried turning it off, then turning it back on, turning it on with the open tray button, nothing. Now I can't FTP or change anything, because I can't get past the screen.
I modded some Halo maps and they all worked perfectly, so I shut my xbox off for awhile. Now it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Umm just a few.
I have a regular xbox HDD with H2 downloaded onto it, with about 300 mb left. Does that have to do with anything?

What it says:

(it says this 5 other times, in different languages)
Text is bright green, and the background was black
The light surrounding the button to open the tray is flashing green and red.
There is no number.
I got this message before, when I was installing the softmod through SC, I was using the wrong Installer (it didn't match the profile for it.)

Yeah it is a # but I have had two systems fail do to hacked stuff so nope I never will touch it...it could have killed your HDD. Did you save your back up on the PC?? If not you may have to get a chip and another HDD. Which the stock HDD is like 10 bucks, or a bigger one for games for 60. Chips go from 10 to 60 for the best. I don't have my backup on my pc, but my mom won't let me get anything else for my xbox, I'll just have to wait.
If my HDD was saved on my pc, how could I get it to my xbox?

Well hell dude just pull your PC one out..lol. You maybe messed up. if you backed up the whole drive then after you modd your xbox just FTP all the stuff. Well, I won't sacrafice my PC one, but I got 2 morecomputers, both old, one I gutted out some parts.
I'll either do that, or just get a modchip and a new HDD.
BTW how much does it cost for like, a 120GB HDD?
Or I could get a pre-modded xbox.

Well there is a memeber here that has a 200 for sale..but I gat my 300 for 80 As for a premodded abox looking at 2ish for one. Ask a few sellers here and see if you can just mail out your xbox and have them modded it for you. It would save you money and time The problem is the xbox HDD is locked...no other HDD will work with a softmodded xbox. You would need a chip to use another HDD. PSON if ur willing to give ur chip to An_idiot_modding then ur welcome to have my old ICE chip. well i say old but its still fairly new, i got a Gold sample from TX when they released the Gold so my ICE became retired
seriously i'm not using it so if you want it PM me, i dont have a solderless adapter so you'll need one of those though i do have a spare pin header

Wow thanks alot, I have been getting hits like that alot as of late. the Ice man said the same thing...hell hes even trying to trade or sell this stuff to get me an X3..lol. But he said worest case I could have his ice chip too, but if something happens and it fails sure I am in totally, Thank you so much for the offer too...thats mean more then the chip itself.
