Ok i had to take a female USB off a car i dont need anymore.

It of course didnt have colored wires, so i soldered sum on.

Heres the ? i need to know wat wire on the controller male goes to wat wire on the USB i took a pic and its facing Right side up.....any help would be APPRECIATED!!

I dont know about the wires because i used a usb extension lead+an xbox dance mat to make the adapter.my advice is to just buy a usb extension cable+cut it in half. Also get an old xbox joypad or accessory that plugs into the controller port and cut the wire on that in half. U should see 4 wires in the usb lead and 5 in the xbox one. The yellow one in the xbox lead is useless, cut it off or something. Then ur left with 4 wires in each. Just match up the colours and solder. If only 3 colours match then solder the odd ones out together. When its all done and you want to test it just plug it in, turn on your xbox and wait till it goes to the dashboard. BACK UP THE FILES ON YOUR USB MEMORY DEVICE Then plug in a usb memory device and wait 10 seconds. then go into memory. It should a)recognize it as a memory card/ b) Say it is damaged/ c)Say its not working properly and erase it or d)Nothing happens
A it worked
B it worked but your usb memory device isn't compatable
C it worked
D Try another usb memory device if that doesn't work then it didn't work.
DO NOT USE AN MP3 PLAYER BECAUSE THE XBOX WILL FORMAT IT AND IT WILL NEVER WORK AGAIN!!
