My xbox was fragging with my xenium gold sp in so i opened it up to see no problems. I took out all the parts and put them back in. I tested my xbox, no go. I tried it 3 more times, and i got it to function correctly; the yelow lights and stuff. I was happy , 6 seconds later- . After it turns green for about 6 seconds, it turned red, then green, then just flashed red and orange. WTF?!! I unplugged the power, reinserted again, and when i turn power on it did the same thing. The modchip lights are yellow then turn to a mest up red and orange? Anyone help me out?

Was this just installed, or has it been working fine up until now and them boom?
How is it installed? pinhead solder, wire solder, solderless, etc? I would check all the connections there and ensure that nothing has broken. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

It was just installed and its solderless. I have taken it out and in and out and in a million times. The wire from the black solderless adaptor of the xenium gold sp for 1.0-1.5 is bent kinda like:

As long as it is still conductive your fine. Do you have a multimeter that you can use to test is the wire still works?

hey hey hey, now i got the chip to work but not the disc. I finally saw the AID ISO, that was 480mb. I burned it to a memorex cd-rw at 4x using dvd decrypter. I turned the xbox on, inserted the disc, closed the tray and powered down. I turned it on and nothing came on.
I see using the aid guide that the iso should be like 1,800,000,000 bites, well guess what i extracted the 1 rar and burned the 1 iso. what?
stupid non-important Q: how do you get that avatar picture on here cus when i try uploading a pic, it always says :must be less than 110 pixlex wide blah blah. I wanna try getting a picture of my pug on here

For your avatar it has to be a certain size, so you need to open the picture in a photo editing program and ensure that it meets the parameters.
What type of dvd-rom is in your xbox?
Best I can recommend is to burn the disc at the slowest possible speed. This increases chances of it being read. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Try burning it with a dvd-r, as this is the most compatible, and burn it at the lowest possible speed you can. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
