Hey Folks:
I just recently purchased a 360, and the guy at the store recommened that rather than sell my old xbox, to "mod it", and save all my games on the hard drive....then sell the games back to the store.
I know this is not an easy one to answer, but where do I get started here? I have looked in the tutorials and such on the site, but the range of topics are so broad that I do not know where to start.
Could someone please offer guidance.

What you are talking about doing is PIRACY and we do NOT condone that here. Backup games you own and keeping those games is legal. Backing up the games you own then selling those games means you do NOT own the legal rights to those games anymore.
