I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right, simple direction.

I am trying to move saves from my Xbox to the 360 so I can continue some of the backwards compatible titles there. I'm using Action Replay, the XSATA and my PC (obviously, I guess). I've moved many saves already, but there are some that don't have a "copy" option. Some suprised me. Lego Star Wars won't copy, for example.

I want to move those saves, and I'm wondering what the best option is to do it. The best solution would be one where no modding was involved at all. I have a feeling that's not possible. I don't want to go further than soft modding, though, and I'd like the easiest, most bare bones one possible. Something that a complete n00b like me could quickly set up, move those saves, then return the Xbox to its original, non-modded condition.

What's the easiest method, considering that I ONLY want to move these "uncopyable" saves?

Please, please help. Thanks in advance!

Well, thanks. However, I am using Xplorer360 with the XSATA and AR. However, there are still some saves that can't be moved this way due to being "uncopyable" in the Xbox dashboard. Those are the ones I'm looking to move.

Simple fix. Softmod with the unleashX dashboard, then go into your saves manager and make a note of the "file" name in the left hand side of the save window for that game. Should be right under the main save icon's picture. Now, with that series of numbers written down, open up the file explorer and go to your E:\UDATA and find the folder with the same name that you noted before.

Now pop in your AR card and move your cursor to the right hand side of the explorer. Navigate down to H (it will show up once the card has been inserted. Open up H and move back to the left pane, press start on the noted folder, and choose "copy". That should move the folder to your AR and you should be good to go.

Once you're done, remove the softmod using AID or something, delete the exploit file from the save manager and it's like your box was never touched. To make the whole process easiest, just run with SID 3.11, that way you don't have to worry about the virtual eeprom and all that.

Well, that does help, but I am a n00b extreme. Could you be more clear? Or point me to appropriate tutorials?

For example, I have no idea what AID or SID 3.11 are. In the first paragraph, can I do all that directly from the Xbox to the AR or will I have to FTP: the Xbox to the PC (which I do not completely understand, but I know is sometimes involved)?

Thanks again!
