unfortunitly the SID files are 8MB both, and thats a lil big to fit in a email so, if you have AIM then give me your sn ill send it to you on that.

i have been trying to softmod my xbox and i got the run linux file but i cant get the other file because i dont no were to get it and i cant find sid 4.0 i have been looking every were i have the terret stuff if u could show me a vidio of how to do it or show me some pics how to do it and were i can get the other mech assault save

from what i know, mech assault only has one SID file, i think only splinter cell is the game that requires 2 files for softmoding.

but truthfuly, ive modded over 20 xboxs and i have never had any problem using SID 2.0 splinter cell. not even the very first time

okay, I have the SC .rar file. Do I need WinRAR to open it? And Also: Mechassault is easier to mod with?!?! I have the game and the save, but I didn't try it because I wanted the blue evox dashboard... can I still get it with MA?
EDIT: forget what I said before! Yes, I needed WinRAR. I got it and opened the .rar file, but then when I tried to place in in Action Replay, I didn't see the file being placed. WTF???

The game you use does not matter. They're merely three highways to get to the same destination. I sent you one big .rar file. Open up this .rar file using one of the rar progrems I mentioned earlier. WinRAR or 7Zip. Using either one of these will get you this file list:
Extract those to an easily accessable location (I'd use the desktop), then, once they're out, drag them into your AR window under PC Database. They'll be loaded there. Then, drag them to your MemoryCard pane, and MAKE SURE THE MEM CARD IS EMPTY or they won't fit!
The loader file is only 19KB and the launcher is just ander 5.7 megs. So they should fit on an AR mem card. They fit fine on mine. Once all is loaded onto the memory card, load it into your Controller that is plugged into the XBox. Go to the memory management and DELETE any other Xploit/Loader files from the Xbox's HDD. Once that's done, press "B" and go into the memory card. press down to select the first file, then press right and then "A". This will give you the option to copy to the HDD. Do so, and do the same for the loader file.
Once that's all said and done, pop in your game, and lauch the xploit and softmod your box! Good to go. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

never mind, I got the saves to be valid, and now the saves are on my Xbox. I backed up EEPROM, MS Dash, and Softmods. But when I try to go online in halo 2 it won't let me. I'm guessing it's because evox disables it (from getting banned) How do I turn off??? Whenever I start my xbox it goes straight to the evox dash!!! AUGHH!!!
I can't find out how to delete it! I WANT TO PLAY HALO 2 ONLINE AGAIN!!!

ONCE AGAIN: ignore what I posted. I "half-way" fixed it. I can paly halo 2 online now, but for some reason when I go to the regular MS dashboard, it makes no sounds (when I press A or move the joystick).
So I'm okay for now, but can someone tell me the following:
1. How to get rid of ALL the modding stuff when I want to
2. How to get some modding files (containment reacetrack, perhaps)
3. How to NOT be able to see the modded dashboard when I eject my disk.
btw, I downloaded EvolutionX first, and then I tried to download UnleashX, but all I see is the evox dashboard. What gives?
