i have xbox v1.6 w/ smartxx v3 mod and a maxtor 300g harddrive.
i upgraded from my org 8g drive and my 300g drive isnt showing the new space. how do i format my new drive to show the space?

Firstly, what bios are you using? This definitely sounds like a bios config issue.
You may not be using a bios that is LBA48 friendly, meaning you are only getting about 127GB of HD space between your C, E, and F drives.
You should be using the M8 or M8 plus bios to begin with, and possibly you grabbed one where they had it configured for smaller HDs. _________________ Xbox 1.4
