k guys, I was half aleep and was attemptingto reupdate my friends' xbox with AID 3.03, but the disc was kinda buggy and I knew it was gonna be my downfall...Anyways, I chose reformat before I uninstalled the softmod, and then I reinstalled the Mdash and now it says error 22 on boot and msdash can't connect to live. What do i need to do? I can't get a chip and hotswap is not gonna happen I guess. So if anyone has a suggestion on how to fix it, please let me know. I would like to save my friend money before having someone elsefixit, since I can but am not sure if there is an easier alternative. Thanks for any help.

The gamesave is stored on E Drive. If you've only formatted C you might have a chance, but I dunno. Might be time for other measures...

no, I formatted the retail HDD. I know they are on E, so that means they are gone I guess. Is there a way to load the gamesave from a memory card? I know 007 can load saves from it, but idk about the launcher too. Any thoughts on that? He doesn't have a chip and can't hotswap, so Idk anything else. I have someone who said he can fix it but I don't want my friend to have to pay for my mistake. _________________ Moddingbandit

Well, I know for the fact the 007 exploit doesn't boot from the memory card, as it's programmed to boot from HDD. I tried a while ago to make a version that WOULD boot from a meory card, but I couldn't get it to work.
Looks like a chip or hotswap.

Damn, well that's ok I guess. I will just let my friend do it since he can. I wish you coulda got that exploit to work. O well, thanks for your help.
