Hello all a question from a newbie
When i am conected to the Xbox thru FTP Pro and I put a disk in the drive It will not allow conectinon to it. Is this normal. as i have read that you can access the D drive with a disk in it.

Do you connect then put the disc in or put the disc in then connect the ftp? Put the disc in first, then try connecting. Also if you have a chip installed it needs to be in the chip OS screen not the xbox screen or dashboard. _________________

The chip installed is Excuter2 and the Chip OS screen I don't know where to find it? Either way it will not conect when a cd or a dvd is in the drive as it will load the contents from the disk, is that the way to stop the disk from loading so the FTP can read it? As i am a newbie to Xbox and brought the unit second hand.
I will try and search for more infomation but if anyone would like to point the way it would make me very happy.

Try this, put the disc in, turn off the xbox than turn it on again. If it goes directly to the game, then you have it set on auto boot. If it boots to another screen then that's the one you need to ftp. It seems to be an auto boot issue. Also if you have xbox ftp you can use that to ftp in and out of your xbox. _________________

use Qwix to create ISO's directly from the xbox
open qwix and configure an xbox connection. With the game disc in the xbox D drive click browse in Qwix (next to where you edit, add, delete the connections)
