hi dont know if any one can help had a chip instaled last year but been told by a freind that you need a Dashboard so that we can run x box though pc the x box playes backup discs but can link pc to it with out a dashboard so if any one can tell me which one is the best and how to load the program ont the x box that would help a lot i know a bit about computer but not a lot so make it easy to under stand. the x box come up with the evox logo in red thats all a know

You need to make THIS easy to understand. I'm guessing that you're talking about XBMC. You need to get AID and install it as your dash. _________________

or you CAN DOWMLOAD ftp core on your computer then get xbmc and ftp it to your xbox

thanks but need it Explained so i can understand cant set up x box to pc no dasboared instaled dnot know how to link pc to xbox with out dash need an easy tutorial can build and fix pc but tecnical part is above me need easy insruttions to follow

do you have broadband or dial up internet.
if broadband, is ur pc connected via a router or straight to modem,etc

its on bulldog broadband with a netgear router not wired not wireless two computer running on router, router to phone line

you have a network cable plugged into ur pc from the router right?
