I just discovered that modding without a modchip is possible. I have a question:
There is Autoinstaller and Softmod, do I need autoinstaller to play backup games? what is the easiest way to play backup games, I can buy an action replay memory card if that would work. I just don't understand what the function of Autoinstaller is because I just learned about this today.

ok a softmod is a software version of a modchip in theory, i made my own Action replay using a old controller, and mem card, but the auto installer is a package of software that can be installed to the xbox using the auto installer disc, i recommend auto installer deluxe by djb version 3.03, his installer is by far the best and most update installer out in the modding scene _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

if I install the auto installer do I need to install softmod?
