Ok, I'm serisouly stumped.
I don't have a computer so I'm on my friends.
I have a 80GB HDD in my xbox.
I downloaded AID and wanted to start again from a blank UnleashX dash and a Softmod.
I went and formatted all the partitions.
Unknowingly formatting the partition I had put AID on.
I shut down (stupid me) and now I cannot boot from the HDD and I'm getting a 16 error when I try to boot from the AID CD.
I do NOT have the old 8 GiG HDD because of a little problem I had with the FBI. They took the 8GB HDD.
I was wondering if anyone knows a way I can get a CD (I know I had one before) that I can put into my friends computer and ger it so I can explore the files and restore the backup I made with UnleashX on the E:\ Partition.
tried setting it on his computer so that hes Master was set (w/ jumper) so that it would be Master with Slave and then putting the 80GB HDD from my Xbox as the slave so I could get into the HDD and move the backup from E to C.
Now, I guess there is some sort of a clash between the C on the master and the C on the slave, When I try to boot it will hang on the windows loading screen.
I know that I had a CD (The FBI also took that) that a computer woule boot from and I could set the HDD up so it could boot from the CD.
I know that will work but the only problem now would be for AID I don't have a EEPROM backup or a M$ Dash backup. And I wouldn't be able to install softmods.
All I want is to be able to play CD's from it without it giving me a 16 error code and then I will be able to restore the backup and get the stuff I need to be working again.
Please, I only have till 6 (central time) to get the working again or im SOL.
Thanks,
AnarchyCow
P.S. - Sorry for horrible spelling and grammer, I'm in a hurry.
