ok i have bin on this site for a while. i just downloaded quake 3 and install it but know every time I reboot my xbox it freeze in 2 seconds i need help from any one i cant do any thing because every time i turn it on it goes to the evo dashboard then it freezes in 3 or 2 seconds how do i fix it. and i have a softmod with retail bios

When you say it freezes, is the freezing taking place upon boot up without Quake3 in the DVD drive? Or is Quake 3 on the HDD? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

sorry about that i am realy confused i took out the game and when it boots to the dashboard it freezes in to seconds but if i go to the normal xbox dashboad it is fine i do not know what to d i have the slayer cd in right know abd i boot it but i did not reinstal it yet so can someone help me please and i was messing with the TDATA and the UDATAand know i it keeps freezing

ok i would like to use aid but i dont have time but what should i do to reinstall it because i have version 2.6 and its in so what should i press it gave me a few choices

First of all, you will need to make time if you want your xbox to work. You have to reinstall like Shark2th said and the only choice is through AID. You will have to download it and burn the ios so that you can getr your xbox working.
Oh yeah, one more thing, downloading games is considered piracy which we do not condone. _________________

thanks but i use slayer to format me e drive and i ftp everything over like my movies gme saves and emulator n it worked i didnt even touch my c drive

Interesting. It may have been an issue in the E drive cache. But based on the idea that you couldn't get past your dashboard due to freezing, it wasn't much of an option to try to clear it.
