Hello all. This is my first post. I tried to search around a bit for the answer to my question, but didn't find much. Feel free to just point me in the right direction.
First, I'm using the Splinter Cel Softmod install, but I don't know the versions of anything because I got the saves from my friend. I'd be happy to check the versions, I just need to know where to look. I know it's one of the Evox installers. I've modded my own box, as well as about 10 of my friends so I'm very familiar with the process. I've also installed 3 120 gig drives in differant Xboxes without any problems, and made XBMC the default Dash, so I feel I'm fairly proficient.
My question is this: One of my first attempts to mod an Xbox was for my friend Toni, and I installed the softmod on the E drive. I want to move the dashboard files, and boot it from the C drive instead. I restored the MSDash, and remodded it using the C drive, but it still uses the .XBE from the E drive. Where do I change where it looks for the Dash XBE?

If your using SID 4.5, you can't just delete the files, since you may be deleting things in the mounted image.
I would do this:
Grab the AID3 disk
If your using SID4.5, unmount the drive
Format C:
Install your dash to C:
