Hi all, Can some please please help. I have a crystal xbox which had evo x soft mod installed, and i bought a new 120gb hdd and tried to reinstall the softmod which was unsuccesful. So i placed the original retailhdd back in the xbox and was greeted with error no.5. And now error no.6 on the 120gb hdd.
Seen as i'm a noob to this, can someone please give me some advice on how to reverse what ive some how seemed to have done and/or give some advice on how to properly soft mod a bigger hdd.
I'm at the end of my teather as i'm clueless on how to fix my xbox and really dont want to confine it to the back of the closet all broken.
Any help will much much appriciated. So please can someone bail me out and help get my xbxo working again

I am sure others have some ideas, but I would just pop in a chip and see if you can get the HDs locked to the mobo.
The one with the error code 06 stumps me though. Was this HD removed from another machine? Typically, you get error code 06 when you remove a locked HD from one machine and pop into another.
Do you understand what HD locking is and how it takes place?? _________________ Xbox 1.4
