I have an xbox thats less than a year old. Its got the nessicary LIVE updates (5960), but when I install the softmod, or anything, they go about half way, and it goes back to the main menu, without doing a full install I guess. When I take the game out I get error 21, and I guess I just can't get the file to load correctly or something.
On another note, I'd like to thank Modding Bandit for his help with my other box. We were installing it (it was pre-modded), and it messed up, and removed the softmod, and we finally got it to go back on it, but without the FULL program, I don't know how I can get this other Xbox to work. With this other modded xbox (that ModdingBandit) helped with, I can't get FTP access to it like I did when It had Avalaunch on it. It just wont connect (UnleashX)

Error 21 means that you are missing your DASHBOARD or the xbox cannot find a dashboard to boot..
I would just install a hacked dashboard.. That should fix the problem.
I happened to get that xbox to work with 4.5 nknave edition, which is cool, lol.
I have yet another xbox, v 1.1 MB, and I ran burnout revenge with internet to it up update it, hopefully. Here the problem
With Sid 4.5 in it, booted up, when I try to make a MS Dash bacup, it says theres softmod files in it, when I try to remove the softmod, it says theres no ms dash backup, which is weird, because I'm stuck at a complete standstill, I can make a ms dash backup with 3.1 and its like it doesn't even see it.

Why don't you make a new msdash backup from the aid disk then back up eeprom then mod it using "one click install" that should work mate..... _________________
